"Oh, the thinks you can think" when Dr. Seuss' best-loved characters collided and cavorted in an unforgettable musical caper! Tony winners, Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty (Lucky Stiff, My Favorite Year, Once on This Island, Ragtime), have lovingly brought to life all of our favorite Dr. Seuss characters including "The Cat in the Hat", "Horton Hears a Who", "Horton Sits on the Egg", "Yertle the Turtle and Other Stories", "McElligot’s Pool", and "Oh, The Places You’ll Go!" These classic, colorful tales are brought together by Jojo, a young boy and “thinker of strange and wonderful thinks.”
This second production of Seussical in which Craig Schieber directed and Guy Caridi choreographed. The Players were delighted to get Mark and Nancy Press back to do their music direction again.
Our accompanist from Sound of Music Jay Rauchenstein was Horton, while Michael Yichao starred as the Cat in the Hat.
