Seattle and Kitsap campers will delight in this outdoor summer program featuring art, music, drama, play, hiking, forest skills, creek exploring and just plain fun. Our nature camps let young children play, explore and create at the beautiful Kitsap Forest Theater. If you are looking for outdoor summer activities for kids in the Puget Sound area, you have come to the right place!
Kitsap Forest Adventure Camps, where children's creativity and imagination bloom, are presented by The Mountaineers Players.
Camp 1: July 8th - 12th (Enchanted Forest)
Camp 2: July 15th - 19th (Forest Explorers) (FULL)
Age: K - 5th grade

Camp Location
Kitsap Forest Theater is located in Bremerton, 15 minutes from the Bremerton ferry dock, and is accessible to campers all around the Puget Sound area. Ferry transportation is available from Seattle.

Come for a magical week in the forest. Collect natural materials to build a home for gnomes, elves and fairies. Take a magical stroll to “Big Tree”, discover secrets of the forest, splash and explore in the creek, and let your imagination run wild. |
Come learn exciting wilderness skills while exploring our beautiful Kitsap forest. Use a compass, identify edible plants, build a fort or shelter, spot fish in their natural habitat while splashing in the creek and discover natural landmarks, including "Big Tree." |

Camp Hours
Kitsap Forest Theater (Bremerton): 9:45 am to 2:45 pm
Seattle (includes ferry): 8:00 am to 4:00 pm*
*Seattle Ferry: 8:30 am; Bremerton Ferry: 3:00 pm
Camp Cost per Week
Mountaineers Member Tuition: $260.00
Non-Mountaineers Member Tuition: $300.00

Seattle Transportation Package
For Seattle area campers, a ferry ride will add to the adventure. Choose the transportation package and drop your camper off at the Seattle/Bremerton Ferry dock and we will escort your camper on the ferry and to the camp. Or share carpool duties with friends and spend the day exploring Kitsap County. For city folks, our nature camps are the perfect summer acitivity for your children. Online registration is above. Cost is $75.00
Optional Family Friday Overnight
Sign-up to enjoy a relaxing and fun mini-vacation for the whole family at the Kitsap Forest Theater. These Family Friday overnights are open to all, including families without a child enrolled in camp. Take a hike to "Big Tree", sing around the campfire, and enjoy sumptuous meals.
